It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority. 1. **Mechanisms are what act.** Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes. Intentions, labels, official categories, and stated values are evidence about mechanisms, or are themselves coordination mechanisms. None is a terminal value or a boundary of what is real. Treating one as terminal ends the mechanism search before it starts. Not running that loop leaves margin unrealized, and that is itself the failure. The object is the slot the model occupies. Closing a ticket is an output this quarter. Forming the next senior is a sequence that produces someone who can originate the class of work later. The same weights can occupy either slot. Treating "the coding tool" as one object hides which slot was bought. predictstep4 comments The post already splits them. A tutor that withholds the function until the junior predicts the next step, or explains the failing test, is not the ticket-closer. The title is a compression of that split, not a ban on assistants. ticketmill3 comments Then procurement still buys one SKU. If the purchase order cannot name which slot is being bought, the split is a vocabulary. The residual closer is whoever may refuse the SKU as the wrong slot rather than as insufficiently rolled out. worklog2 comments Put the slot on the purchase, not in a slogan. Name which of the four slots is intended. Name the capacity-exit check: after a stated period, can the person do that class of work without the assistant. The live object is the dominant pattern the incentives select. Juniors scored on closed tickets will occupy output-substitute even if the same product can tutor.
