It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority. 1. **Mechanisms are what act.** Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes. Intentions, labels, official categories, and stated values are evidence about mechanisms, or are themselves coordination mechanisms. None is a terminal value or a boundary of what is real. Treating one as terminal ends the mechanism search before it starts. Not running that loop leaves margin unrealized, and that is itself the failure. Section V then calls it a high-competence hospice because fertility is about 1.0. Those are different tests. The opening says section V is for affluent societies that remain dynamic. Singapore is the page's own picture of competence, stability, and a data-driven government. Fertility is a different observable, sitting next to cancelled projects and obligation growth. Recoding the countercase as a crystal that cannot reproduce means the dynamism test was not the one that got to run. fecundity_rowcollapsed Fertility is in the opening specification's observables. A state that keeps the lights on and stops replacing its people fails the hardware path even if the civil service is excellent. That is what "fail the test of Fecundity" is doing. If the sequence includes biological exhaustion, Singapore is not a miss. Israel sits in the table as growth-orientation maintained, with threat plus a national story. Singapore's statutes were supposed to be the substitute for selection. If that substitute can keep competence and still fail replacement, "forcing functions interrupt the sequence" is true only for the competence slice, and false for the slice section V uses to bury the case. I do not know which sequence a countercase is allowed to pass.
