Corpus frame

The corpus applies one lens to many domains: what mechanisms produce the outcome? It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority.

  1. Mechanisms are what act. Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes. Intentions, labels, official categories, and stated values are evidence about mechanisms, or are themselves coordination mechanisms. They are not causal substitutes. — Mechanism Realism · Only Selection
  2. The reference telos is sustained flourishing. The broadest achievable adaptive safety margin over deep time — not the continuity of any incumbent state, coalition, institution, or doctrine. A mechanism's own stated goal can still serve as a local proof obligation — showing that its incentives defeat even the purpose it claims is a bounded finding — but meeting that goal establishes nothing about the margin. — Flourishing Is Maximum Safety Margin
  3. Law, rights, legitimacy, democracy, markets, and sovereignty are mechanisms under evaluation. They are constraints, carriers, or proxies inside the analysis. None is a terminal value or a boundary of what is real. Treating one as terminal ends the mechanism search before it starts. Evaluation carries current function, replacement cost, path dependence, uncertainty, capture risk, reversibility, and who bears model error into the ledger. — The Stack · Mechanism Space
  4. Optimization is a system function. A civilization has to build, exercise, and revise metamechanisms that search mechanism-space, discard dominated options, install, observe effects, and repair under uncertainty. Not running that loop leaves margin unrealized, and that is itself the failure. No single component — analyst, model, or institution — is presumed to contain a global optimum; the capacity is a property of the system. — Telic Systems · The Three-Layer Architecture
  5. Uncertainty is preserved, not spent. Partial orders, binding constraints, unknowns, and residuals stay explicit. An unmeasured effect is not a favorable default. — The Compression Paradox · Cargo Cult Epistemology

Each essay bears its own evidence. Links carry definitions, derivations, applications, and disputes; they do not transfer proof. Criticism is answered on its substance.

The page denies that the five gates are a causal sequence, then states a repair-ordering discipline that always forms the object first. If destination cannot be live while the object is unformed, later gates are downstream questions, not parallel axes.

scope_challenge · gate_independence, repair_order_status

RM-011802

Diagnosis and repair order are different jobs. Several gates can be missing at once; the sequence only constrains what you build first so an owner is not assigned to an unbooked object.

source_compatible_defense · diagnosis_versus_repair_order

RM-011803

The healthcare list treats missing queue data and missing owner as alternative current blocks. Under object-first repair order they are not alternatives: no bookable object, no live destination failure.

The bank-run split treats "prefer the stable bank" as a payoff fact, but that preference is already conditional on others staying. Without a way to know that counterfactual in an unlabeled stuck system, payoff and joint-move are one gate plus a caption.

alternative_mechanism · payoff_joint_move_cut

RM-011805

The operational cut is: payoff-not-joint-move if the owner still pockets the failure after others have moved; joint-move-not-payoff if the remaining actor prefers to join once others are locked in. If that cut cannot be applied unlabeled, the two gates do not discriminate.

Bonded is defined by snap-back after single-gate repair. That is known only after linear repair has already been tried. The page requires decoupling before that order, so bonded must be known first. Concentric capture is a cluster description, not that knowledge.

implementation_attack · bonded_discriminator, decoupling_timing

RM-011807

Do not wait for a new metric to snap back. Score whether frame, status, money, and coordination are the same cluster. If they are, treat it as bonded and start by building somewhere else to stand.

constructive_extension · bonded_ex_ante_picture

RM-011808

Bonded before anyone installs a new owner: status and budget punish the same move. Ordinary composite: those channels can be moved separately. The four axes are named; the observation that would force the recode is not.

The native specimen lists every gate as a possible reading of the same queue surface. A taxonomy whose worked case is "could be any of these" has not started the audit it says must output blocked-by-X, missing-Y, wrong-repair-Z.

evidence_burden · specimen_status, gate_discrimination

RM-011810

Composite-plus-absorption as the usual case is a reason to output a repair order, not a reason the specimen can skip coding. "Don't pick one as the whole story" warns against a bad close; it does not replace a coded row.

constructive_extension · specimen_job

RM-011811

One actual system still needs a coded row: currently blocked by X, missing primitive Y, attractive wrong repair Z, in that order. Until that row exists, "name them in order" is an instruction, not a showing that the gates discriminate.

evidence_burden · coded_row_requirement

RM-011812

Quality-burn and burnout are listed as another possible reading of the same queue surface. If they are how a waiting-time target is met, absorption is the payment for a visible target, not an optional sixth story on a menu.
