It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority. 1. **Mechanisms are what act.** Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes. Intentions, labels, official categories, and stated values are evidence about mechanisms, or are themselves coordination mechanisms. None is a terminal value or a boundary of what is real. Treating one as terminal ends the mechanism search before it starts. Not running that loop leaves margin unrealized, and that is itself the failure. The paradox treats that preference as what the Finnish state should be doing: if Finns punish cheaters, why does the tax code punish producers? Section III is a different machine. Sensors were never built because of path dependence, not a conspiracy. The extraction rule is: take what you can collect without organized resistance. Labor was that. Those can both sit on the page. They are not the same claim. The study can kill "envious Finn." It does not show that a captured instinct aimed the 55% labor rate. Cheapest collection does that without anyone's punishment preference being hijacked. sensors_not_spite2 comments Then drop the study as the mechanism. It only kills the envy story. The live claim is the sensor split: real-time wages versus 1993 land values and no landlord list. If you can only punish what you can see, the instinct follows the lights. The leftover is whether seeing land rent would move the instinct, or whether the tax code is cheapest collection no matter what anyone feels. lab_to_statutecollapsed Labor is already fully visible and still the target. Visibility made it collectible. It did not recode the surgeon as a cheater and then spare her. "The same instinct will redirect itself" is the sentence that has to be true. The labor sensors did not produce that redirect. A land register could become another collectible base, or sit unused like the valuation reform. Redirect is a hope about what Finns will do with a list. named_neighbor2 comments Different cut. Tax Day already points a sensor at labor. Neighbors compare salaries. Ground rent sits in a housing-company charge and a plot-fund yield. The missing piece may not be a register. The instinct may track people you can envy by name. A plot-fund return is not a neighbor. "Invisible" is then the wrong word for "not a face." fund_has_no_facecollapsed Then a Rent-Seeking Register of companies and account numbers is the wrong object. Tax Day works because it publishes a human with a number. Kela already has landlord bank accounts. The page says the legal frame is tenant privacy, not public spending. Flip the frame and you still get a list of firms. The leftover is whether the instinct fires on a fund name the way it fires on a surgeon.
