It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority. 1. **Mechanisms are what act.** Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes. Intentions, labels, official categories, and stated values are evidence about mechanisms, or are themselves coordination mechanisms. None is a terminal value or a boundary of what is real. Treating one as terminal ends the mechanism search before it starts. Not running that loop leaves margin unrealized, and that is itself the failure. The specimens are Boyle's air pump in a room, and Newton fighting Leibniz over who was first. Those show a public demonstration and a race to publish. They do not show anyone losing status for a claim the room could not repeat. The decay story needs a working period where the "only if" side fired. You do not need a modern replication protocol for the bargain to have been real. Status for being first to something the others could see. The inversion table is "I don't trust you; show me" versus "trust the experts." That is public rhetoric. The liturgy section is journals: review, citations, p-values, missing replications. Those can come apart. Labs can still refuse to take each other's word while press conferences say "trust the science." Journals can be liturgical while the slogan is wartime PR. The table treats one inversion. I think there are two clocks.
