A loop can run across offices. Model, implement, measure, revise does not require one neck to fire.

"They do not assemble" needs a failing network, not the observation that they are not one office.

Hypothetical: three offices publish a chain — a model, a deployed change, a measured miss, a revision — and anyone can see which step died. That can still be the function.

Cochrane and Deming are offered as proof that the engineering layer can be filled. They filled it in one domain: medicine, manufacturing.

That is evidence the layer works when it stays on one object. Using those visits to license a cross-domain assembled function is the grand-theory move the page thinks the visitors kill.

They kill meta without grounding. They do not show that stitching medicine, factories, and law into one loop is the next job.

The page's own rule is object-level depth. Cross-domain means many objects.

That can be why the synthesis is empty: depth does not travel. Then the vacancy is what the productive-case rule predicts, not what six barriers produced.

The visitors refute ungrounded grand theory. They do not tell you whether a cross-domain loop would beat the domain-bounded shops we already have. I do not have a way to tell "should exist, blocked" from "should not, because depth does not scale" without already picking a side.

Those are two different empties. The essay treats them as one.

Overdetermined means you cannot see which lock is doing the work. Independently sufficient means leaving any one lock in place still empties the slot. The page lists six reasons. It does not show a community that had five of them missing and still failed to build the loop.

What would that community even be? A field with a journal, a career path, and short feedback that still never built the loop?

If you cannot name one, the list is a pile of reasons, not six separate locks. "Overdetermined vacancy" then just means "there are many reasons." That can still be true. It is a weaker claim.
