The opener and conclusion treat the United States as the chaotic pole, while section V files "many US states with strong self-defense protections" in the same design class as Switzerland. Until those are different objects, the design claim is not identified: the same country is evidence for and against the mechanism.

Section III's conversion is pooling of the population's capacity for violence into the state's enforcement apparatus ("give up your sword"). The Swiss specimen and the effective-monopoly design keep the rifle. Section VII's picture of a healthy monopoly is not carrying weapons. The energy-liberation story and the lead specimen are different machines.

Anarcho-tyranny is an inversion of will: punish interveners, refuse to judge predators. Failed monopoly is inability to enforce. Agency is a second ledger. High maintenance cost is a third. The opener's paradox is chaos. Thermodynamics as friction-into-order does not pick the armed Swiss arrangement over a quiet, expensive, disarmed police state.
