Corpus frame

The corpus applies one lens to many domains: what mechanisms produce the outcome? It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority.

The specimen is premature deaths of eminent life scientists: collaborator output into the affected fields falls; non-collaborator output rises, on different corpora, and is highly cited. The page reports little evidence those stars directly controlled journals or grants.

That is field leadership and entry cost. The thesis then loads four bonded axes: epistemic authority, status weight, material position, coordination role. Material, as grant ecology and lab resources, is the gate the specimen says the stars mostly did not sit on. If the material axis was not bonded, outsider entry after death does not show concentric four-axis coupling.

After a death, score the same four independently. Outsider entry and a different citation mix show an aperture opened. They do not show that status weight and material position each moved rather than riding along with entry.

Two compilers should be able to recode a death as coordination-and-epistemic only without touching the outsider-entry fact. If they cannot, the four-count is not a measurement.

The same section says the pattern holds strongly where feedback is slow, authority is concentrated, and dissent has no other substrate, and names theoretical physics under string-theory hegemony as fitting all three. Successor depth is what that specimen has. The funeral prediction and the ceremony prediction point opposite ways on the same field.
