Corpus frame

The corpus applies one lens to many domains: what mechanisms produce the outcome? It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority.

  1. Mechanisms are what act. Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes. Intentions, labels, official categories, and stated values are evidence about mechanisms, or are themselves coordination mechanisms. A staked claim that a possible interaction is worth bounded attention.

Civilization already routes possible collaborations through money, job titles, friends-of-friends, and engagement algorithms. Those work for people who are already connected, credentialed, famous, or obvious to each other. They fail for the hire that never happens, the correction that never reaches the person who could act, the introduction that never occurs — not because the possible interaction was worthless, but because nothing carried a bounded ask to an evaluator who could classify it.

The proposed object is not a better inbox. It is a claim of the form: "I believe this possible interaction is worth a bounded amount of attention from this class of evaluator, and I accept a consequence if that judgment is careless." The claim is about attention-worthiness, not truth. The sender bounds the ask. The recipient publishes what they will inspect. Someone other than the sender stakes the route. A later receipt says whether the attention was wasted.

Domain: matching and correction when the parties are not already in the same institution or graph — hiring, research collaboration, a finding that needs an official who can act. If the claim is right, treating cold email, a university domain, or a pay-to-message bounty as "the router" would fail: those route by identity, money, or proximity, not by a staked attention claim.

Specimen: a correction can exist for years before it has a path. Cochrane's Effectiveness and Efficiency appeared in the early 1970s; the Cochrane Collaboration, which made systematic reviews into durable infrastructure, was founded in 1993. The signal existed. Question: who may stake the attention claim, what observable consequence fires if it is careless, and if staking recreates affiliation, is this a fifth elite network?

The Show is a claim with a stake. If the only consequence of a careless attestation is that someone can later say "bad routing," the stake is a vocabulary.

Who is bound when the packet wastes the declared endpoint's three minutes? The sender already wanted attention. The recipient already paid it. The attestor is the one whose judgment was supposed to be expensive.

The related write-up already has the sting: outcome receipts. Endpoints that consume without feedback become sinks the network routes around. Recipients who return a relevant/irrelevant bit get better future routing. That is a consequence the attestor can feel on the next packet.

Reaching a mailbox is not classification. The test fails unless the endpoint was declared before the packet moved.
