Corpus frame

The corpus applies one lens to many domains: what mechanisms produce the outcome? It shares four methodological commitments and one explicit directional commitment. Each linked page argues for its part; the links are derivations and disputes, not evidence inherited by every page. The directional commitment does not by itself settle system boundary, distribution, sacrifice, or institutional authority.

  1. Mechanisms are what act. Incentive gradients, selection pressures, feedback loops, and capital stocks produce the distribution of outcomes.   4. Optimization is a system function. Physics of Moloch writes selection as the first of three stages; funeral-by-funeral writes a four-axis cost surface unbinding at death. Recoding those as "what the filter copied" drops the proxy step, the joint-exit trap, and the bonded prices. If the funeral repair is unbinding axes that were never a copying rule, those pages need a mechanism a filter does not already cover.

Engineered selection is an instruction to couple copying to an intended effect, not a report that a filter ran. Coupling can still be selection; who may halt the class cannot. Recoding a halt office as "the filter" erases the office. Meaning still might be: belonging as a terminal value is an objective, not a copying rule. Design, halt, and meaning are leftovers if they still do work after variants, filter, and recurrence are filled.
